LEGION LACROSSE CLUB Covid-19 Action Plan

We love the sport of lacrosse, and we can't wait to get back on the field. But, we want to be safe and more importantly, we want our kids to be safe. So, we have established a COVID-19 Action Plan to mitigate the spread of the virus. Please read below to learn more about our action plan.

*This document will be updated, based on new information and entry into new stages set forth by federal, state, and local government and the CDC/Public Health.

To manage the spread of COVID-19, Legion Lacrosse is taking preventative measures to ensure that all participants are safe and having fun. This action plan is now implemented in all Legion Lacrosse practices, games, and tournaments until restrictions lift entirely. Please read below.

  • 10-1 coach to player ratio

  • 6 foot minimum distance between participants and coaches

  • No physical contact

    • No contact between players and coaches

    • No sharing water bottles

    • We love giving high fives, but we will have to abstain for the time being

  • Player must be ready to play when stepping on the field. No getting ready on the field to avoid spending time lounging.

    • Bags must be placed 6 feet away from other participants. Cone system will be implemented.

  • Parents must remain in vehicle during entire session

    • If injury does occur, we will ask the parent to come tend to their child

  • Waivers must be signed prior to session

  • US Lacrosse Membership is required to participate

  • Pre-screening sheets must be filled out prior to each practice

    • If you do not fill out a waiver, have USL membership, or fill out the pre-screening sheet, your child will not be allowed to participate

    • If child is showing symptoms, please stay home. No cancellation charge will be issued.

We are following the guidelines set forth by federal, state, and local government and the CDC/Public Health. We are also following the US Lacrosse guidelines on return to play.
